Oceans 808
The brief: The new site needed to be clean, streamlined and offer an easy to navigate photo gallery along with a place to display event flyers.
The solution: We took the Oceans 808 theme and portrayed that on the site, dark blue with a black fade towards the bottom to give the impression of deep ocean water. A jQuery powered accordion at the top served as a place to advertise their happy hour and provide concise bits of booking information. Overall this design was clean, simple with minimal text.
Just Dainty
The brief: This one was fun, we had complete control over choosing the name, designing the logo, personality and choosing the color scheme for a new diaper cake company doing business out of Odessa, TX. We were told to make it girly- that was about the extent of our creative brief.
The Solution: We made it girly. Because this site targets baby and bridal showers, we chose "Just Dainty" as the name. The word "dainty" set the personality and theme of the logo, site and business card design. We chose purple, pink yellow and white for the logo colors and made sure the website had different shades of purple and pink to follow the color scheme. This was a fun project- especially since we designed the site using a horizontal slider feature.
